Children Are Benefiting From Your Generous Donations

Updated: Aug 26

If, and until, Kentucky passes the amendment to the Kentucky constitution that allows for school choice, we are trying to help families who have chosen to home-school their children, by supplying curriculum, through scholarship, to them that is affordable and fosters a system teaching a child to be resourceful, independent, and accountable to their work. We wanted you to know that through a recent campaign to raise funds, we were able to supply almost $10,000 for home-school students participating in the ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) program. Thank you so much for your contributions. Overall Kentucky Family Association has been able to help 121 students at 6 alternative Christian schools throughout the state.

We held a meeting in June with some educators to address other concerns and challenges they are facing while they struggle to meet the expenses of their Christian School/ home-school programs.

School choice, also termed "freedom in education", is something that every state surrounding Kentucky offers and has a track record that we can measure the results for families in those states. Just think how having the lawful means to pursue other ways to finance an education that meets the needs of your child would be a win for all students. Amendment 2 would open up the opportunity for charter schools that would be a public option.

*This is just a portion of the ACE Curriculum we have been able to provide home school students through the donations you have provided for education. Some boxes were sent out before we thought to take pictures. You may know how important it is to Dr Simon and Kentucky Family Association that children get the be opportunity for a good education.
