We know that many of you have had an empathetic heart for the victims of Hurricane Helene and all that those victims have gone through and are still going through. And now that the cold of winter is setting in, it is even more concerning that the survivors and displaced get the help that they need. The great thing is, God has laid it on the hearts of so many to step up and help their fellow brothers and sisters in their time of need, as we should. The needs are so great and varied that people are able to meet various aspects of recovery to help in rebuilding their lives.
A friend and volunteer who has worked with Kentucky Family Association, asked for help to collect houseware items to bring to North Carolina to aid the Hurricane Helene victims and with the response that we got from other friends of the organization, one trailer load arrived just before Thanksgiving, with another load going out the end of this week. Our friend is working directly with Freedom Farm Ministries, who she has a direct relationship with, so she knows that the items will be distributed properly. And she said that the ministry was most grateful and appreciative for all the donations. We are thankful to those who have partnered with us to get items loaded for delivery, that will help those who have lost so much. We are thankful to our friend for taking donated items directly to North Carolina. When we work together we can accomplish so much more for God's Kingdom.
