  • Will you pray about the sin of Pride? (June-Pride month)
According to the Bible, pride is a sin that can lead to destruction. Here are some key verses that highlight the dangers of pride: Proverbs 16:18: “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” (NIV) Proverbs 21:4: “Haughty eyes and a proud heart, the lamp of the wicked, are sin.” (NIV) Proverbs 29:23: “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.” (NIV) Isaiah 2:12: “The Lord has a day of vengeance, a year of recompense, to repay the cause of Zion.” (NIV) James 4:6: “But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, ‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.’” (NIV) Pride Leads to Destruction The Bible warns that pride can lead to destruction, both in this life and in eternity. Here are some verses that illustrate this: Proverbs 11:2: “When pride comes, then comes shame, but with humility comes wisdom.” (NIV) Proverbs 29:28: “A king who gives way to honest grandeur, but not justice, is like a beating rain cloud that leaves the earth dry and withered.” (NIV) Isaiah 14:13-15: “You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will make myself like the Most High.’” (NIV) Ezekiel 28:2: “Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Because your heart is proud and you have said, “I am a god, I sit in the seat of God in the heart of the seas,” yet you are a man, and not God, though you make your heart like the heart of God.’” (NIV) Humility is Praised On the other hand, the Bible praises humility and those who are humble. Here are some verses that highlight the importance of humility: Proverbs 22:4: “By humility and fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life.” (NIV) Matthew 18:4: “Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” (NIV) James 4:10: “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.” (NIV) 1 Peter 5:6: “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.” (NIV) Conclusion In conclusion, the Bible is clear that pride is a sin that can lead to destruction, while humility is a virtue that is highly valued. As Christians, we are called to humble ourselves before God and to recognize our dependence on Him. By doing so, we can experience His grace and blessing in our lives.
  • Will you pray for our Christian nation?
The Bible offers several passages that speak to the concept of healing our land. Here are some key verses and principles: Repentance and Humility 2 Chronicles 7:14 - “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Seeking God’s Guidance and Presence Jeremiah 29:12-13 - “Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Turning from Wicked Ways Isaiah 1:16-17 - “Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your doings from before my eyes; cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.” Prayer and Intercession 2 Chronicles 7:1-3 - “When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. The priests could not enter the temple of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled it. When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the Lord above the temple, they fell facedown on the ground and worshiped and praised the Lord, saying, ‘He is good; for his steadfast love endures forever.’” God’s Promise of Healing Psalm 103:2-3 - “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases.” Healing and Restoration Ezekiel 47:12 - “Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees, whose leaf does not wither—nor will their fruit fail, but they will produce new fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.” The Power of God’s Presence Malachi 3:1-2 - “Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me. And the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to his temple, and the messenger of the covenant in whom you delight—behold, he is coming, says the Lord of hosts.” These biblical passages emphasize the importance of: Repentance and humility Seeking God’s guidance and presence Turning from wicked ways Prayer and intercession God’s promise of healing and restoration The power of God’s presence May these principles guide us as we seek to heal our land and bring restoration to our communities.
  • Will you pray to protect the children?
The Bible emphasizes the importance of protecting children and treating them with care and love. Here are some key verses and themes that highlight the significance of child protection: Angelic Protection “Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.” - Matthew 18:10 This verse emphasizes the special protection and care that children receive from God and His angels. God’s Love and Care “Children are a heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” - Psalm 127:3 This verse highlights the value and importance of children as a gift from God. Jesus’ Love for Children “And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them, and blessed them.” - Mark 10:16 Jesus’ actions demonstrate His love and care for children, and His willingness to protect and bless them. Protecting Children from Harm “It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.” - Luke 17:2 This verse emphasizes the importance of protecting children from harm and the severe consequences of harming them. God’s Protection in Times of Trouble “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.” - Psalm 138:7 This verse highlights God’s protection and care for children in times of trouble and danger. The Importance of Caring for Orphans and Vulnerable Children “Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.” - James 1:27 This verse emphasizes the importance of caring for orphans and vulnerable children, and treating them with love and compassion. Conclusion The Bible teaches us that children are precious and valuable in God’s sight, and that we should treat them with love, care, and protection. Jesus’ example and teachings demonstrate His love and concern for children, and we are called to follow His example in protecting and caring for them.

  • Will you pray for the lost?
My son Eric, raised in church. Active in children's church and in youth, told me a few days ago he was gay. And he has a strange theology that God chose this lifestyle for him. It breaks my heart. I cannot give up on God's desire to Save my son Eric and use his life as a witness to Jesus' Saving Power. Please pray with me and my wife. Anonymous
  • Will you pray for healing?
I was diagnosed having prostate cancer 08/2022. I have chosen to use a holistic approach instead of the traditional route (chemo, radiation, surgery). Pray that I might find the specific treatments I need to regain my health. - Larry Griffith A friend of KFA is going to have surgery to repair major bone and joint damage. We pray for skilled doctors to repair the damage and heal his body so he can get on with what his true purpose is.
